Real Canterbury provides a health and wellbeing service for taiohi aged between 13-20 years through a ‘Real Tough Stuff’ programme and youth mentoring.
We support young people to push past their fears and inhibitions to realise what they are capable of.
Real Tough Stuff group
The ‘Real Tough Stuff’ programme runs over 10 weeks, offering early intervention for vulnerable taiohi struggling with symptoms of anxiety and depression. It’s delivered with the intent of teaching taiohi skills that will enable them to better manage intense emotions, social stressors and other things that get in the way of everyday life. The programme is designed to encourage taiohi to push past their fears and inhibitions and realise their own unique potential.
There is also the opportunity for taiohi to be supported one-on-one alongside the programme – talk to your Real Canterbury team if you would like more details.
