Real Canterbury
Real Canterbury provides a health and wellbeing service for taiohi aged between 13-20 years through the Real Talk Group Programme and youth mentoring.
We support young people to push past their fears and inhibitions to realise what they are capable of.
Real Talk Group Programme 2023
The Real Talk Group Programme runs over 10 weeks, offering early intervention for vulnerable taiohi struggling with symptoms of anxiety and depression. It’s delivered with the intent of teaching taiohi skills that will enable them to better manage intense emotions, social stressors and other things that get in the way of everyday life. The programme is designed to encourage taiohi to push past their fears and inhibitions and realise their own unique potential.
