We’re all about creating wellness, wellbeing and loving life!
Real believes mental wellness and wellbeing are possible for every young person. We support young people to build life skills, resilience and strong connections with their family and whānau, friends and communities.
We believe that by supporting young people to live their lives well, young people can take charge of their lives and wellbeing.

Who is it for?
Real is for all young people in New Zealand – wherever they are in terms of their health and wellbeing. Including those who are:
- feeling great
- feeling ‘not so great’ at the moment
- often feeling ‘not great’
- rarely feeling great.
Real also provides support to family and whanau.
This website is just one of the ways we offer support to young people to build resilience, confidence and wellbeing – our teams are busy supporting young people and their families and whanau with the following services…
Right now, Real has services available in some New Zealand regions (click on region names below to find out more!).
And our Wairarapa service supports young people who may be facing drug and alcohol addictions.
Real actively supports young people to get involved in the development of our service through our virtual and actual networks, and offers information and advice through this website and social media channels (Facebook and Instagram).
The future of Real
We’d like to deliver Real nationally so we can support even more young people to build resilience, confidence and wellbeing.
Watch this space as we continue to develop our services for, and with, young New Zealanders.
