Who is it for?
Real is for all young people in New Zealand – wherever they are in terms of their health and wellbeing. Including those who are:
- feeling great
- feeling ‘not so great’ at the moment
- often feeling ‘not great’
- rarely feeling great.
Real also provides support to family and whanau.

Real services
Right now, Real has services available in some New Zealand regions (click on region names below to find out more!).
In Counties Manukau, Whanganui, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki and Nelson/Marlborough we offer short stay respite services to young people.
In the Lakes District and Waikato we have various supports available for young people in schools or other environments familiar to them.
And our Wairarapa service supports young people who may be facing drug and alcohol addictions.
Real actively supports young people to get involved in the development of our service through our virtual and actual networks, and offers information and advice through this website and social media channels (Facebook and Instagram).
