The Color Run is known to be ‘The Happiest 5K on the planet’ – it most definitely is.
Participants run, walk and even dance their way through. At the end of each kilometre, participants pass through a colour station where volunteers throw brightly coloured powder on them. It almost became a race when a colour station was in sight, it motivated participants to get to the stations faster.
You don’t realise you’re exercising because you’re too busy having fun. The only negative about it would be that it had to end.
Both staff and young people loved the idea of getting a bit of exercise together and having a great time while doing it, and of course it was a fantastic photo opportunity! Check them out below :)
